There is a $30 hold on my card. What is this?

Upon rental, Ion places a temporary hold in case users do not return their power bank within 24 hours. This hold is returned once the user returns their power bank.

I Just returned my powerbank, but I still see
the hold on my bank account. Why is this?

Once you return a powerbank, a partial refund is automatically issued through stripe's secure payment gateway. Though the refund is issued immediately, it may take a few days for the refund to reflect on your bank account depending on the bank. If after 10 business days you still see the hold on your card, feel free to reach out to support@ioncharging.us and we will make sure it is taken care of.

What payment methods do you accept?

Each Ion Kiosks comes with a Stripe M2 reader, so we accept all major US credit cards (you can either insert or tap to pay), apple pay and google pay

How long can I keep an Ion powerbank for?

You can keep it for up to 24 hours before the transaction is automatically closed out and the temporary hold is captured. In this scenario, you can keep the powerbank and re-charge it at home for personal use.

How long will an Ion powerbank charge
my phone?

Ion powerbanks are 5000 mAh, which will charge an iPhone roughly 1.5 times.

Can I charge anything besides my phone
with an Ion powerbank?

Yes! Ion powerbank's come equipped with USB-C, lightning, and micro-usb cables, which means that they can charge just about anything
